Candle Care

Dessert & Themed Candles DO NOT BURN THE SAME as your traditional Candles. These are Novelty Candles requiring more maintenance!

1. Trim the wick to 1/4" tall before you light/relight your candle. If candles with whipped topping burns down quickly, you notice excess soot &/or high flame, a more frequent wick trim is required.
2. Avoid burning your dessert candles for more than 4 hours at a time.
3. Always place it on a heat-resistant plate or tray before lighting to catch any melted wax drips.
4. Allow enough time for the wax to melt completely to the edges of the container to prevent “tunneling".
5. Never leave a burning candle unattended; be sure to extinguish the candle before leaving the room.
6. Sometimes embeds will fall into the wax pool which may cause the flame to go out. Allow to cool and move the embeds or any wax that is clogging the wick.
7. Stop use when less than 1/2 of wax remain.
